Today is the first Friday in June, so it's time to participate in First Line Friday! This edition is extra fun because the book I'm highlighting is a new release I'm excited about: book 3 in Lauren Salisbury's Legacy Chronicles series. Because my summer classes also started this week, I haven't started reading this book yet, but I hope to soon! It's going to be high on my Summer TBR list, at least.
Today I'm reviewing book three in the Librarians of Willow Hollow series: Hearts on Lonely Mountain by A.M. Heath. This is the only romance in the series, and just like the books which came before it, it is a wonderful historical fiction tale of growth and bookishness.
Happy Friday, Readers! Today we're talking about book two in the Librarians of Willow Hollow series, AKA one of my favorite things to come out of this year! I Love to Tell the Story introduces us to Lillian Sullivan, a kind young woman who leaves her dying home town of Castle Rock, Montana to tackle the challenge of being a horseback librarian in Willow Hollow, Kentucky. She's a bit older and more mature than Lena, the protagonist from the first book, and brings a dedicated perspective on Christianity and Christian love which the town has not seen.
This book released on Tuesday, August 18.

I have a difficult time saying no to cheap or free books, even if they are not something that I am necessarily interested in at the moment. These are mostly books that I... Continue Reading →
Welcome to the last monthly wrap-up of 2019! This has been quite a year. I set some ambitious goals this month, and I am proud of how things worked out!... Continue Reading →
