It's finally here - the last day of 2020. I know a lot of people are really looking forward to today and the year that starts tomorrow, but honestly, I don't have strong feelings about it. I'm excited to start working on new goals and to see what the year brings, though. But before we can start working on next year's plans, it's time to wrap up this month and the Literary Christmas Reading Challenge.
The Greatest First Line Friday // 12 Days of Christmas 2020 Day 12
Today is Christmas. We've waited, counted the days, planned, baked, wrapped, mailed, and done a hundred other things to prepare for this day. Now, it's finally time to bask in the glory of this wondrous occasion! But, what IS this occasion?
Spell the Month in (Christmas!) Books // December 2020 – 12 Days of Christmas Day 2
In case you're counting, there are now 11 days until Christmas! Are you close to ready? I have bought everything that I need to, decorated my apartment, helped my parents decorate their house, and made...four Christmas music playlists, so I'm in good shape! There are still several things to be done, but I think I will able to accomplish everything at an enjoyable pace.
12 Days of Christmas Kickoff & Tackling the TBR Super Special #1: Christmas Edition 2020
There are only twelve more days until Christmas and the excitement is real here! We're not going to talk about the craziness of this year for a while. While I'm still following all of the recommended precautions (and then some) in real life, here in the blogosphere the next twelve days are going to be nothing but merry!
Mailbox Monday / Library Loot // November 23, 2020
Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists. Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve... Continue Reading →
Book Review & Blog Tour: Hearts on Lonely Mountain by A.M. Heath
Today I'm reviewing book three in the Librarians of Willow Hollow series: Hearts on Lonely Mountain by A.M. Heath. This is the only romance in the series, and just like the books which came before it, it is a wonderful historical fiction tale of growth and bookishness.
Audiobook Review: Throne of Grace by Cecily Wolfe (Cliffwalk Courtships #1)
In 2019 Cecily Wolfe easily became one of my favorite new-to-me authors. I quickly read her Cliff Walk Courtships trilogy, and have been on her bandwagon ever since! That trilogy is now being made into audiobooks, giving the world a whole new way to discover these sweet, clean stories. The Cliff Walk Courtships series is... Continue Reading →
What I Hope to Read & Achieve in August 2020 (TBR List & Goals)
Hey there Readers! Are you a list-maker like me? Do things make more sense when they're laid out in an orderly manner? If so, when do you make your lists? Personally, I like to make one list of goals for the month during the first week of the month, and then I have one other... Continue Reading →
Mailbox Monday // June 21, 2020
It's been a while since I could participate in Mailbox Monday! With the library being closed, moving, and just the way life was, I did not receive any new books for several weeks (and honestly that is not a bad thing). This weekend I visited my parents, and apparently when the mail rains, it pours!... Continue Reading →
What Cats Do {Book Tag}
I found this incredibly fun and unique tag over at The Comfy Reader and it was originally created by MeltingPotsAndOtherCalamaties. I wasn't tagged but I love everything about this tag so I am jumping in on it! Purr: As cats do when they're happy or relaxed, what is the book that makes you happiest or... Continue Reading →
