Tackling the TBR 23.1

Although it is entirely virtual, my TBR (to be read) list has gotten a bit out of hand. Here are ten books from it and my thoughts on whether I still want to read them

Let Us Find Our Rest In Thee // What is “Advent” anyway?

I realized recently that I've been approaching this season and these posts with the assumption that those who I'm talking/writing to already know most of what I know. Today's post seeks to lay a foundation of my understanding of Advent, both within its original historical context and how it is recognized today.

Things I’m Loving This Season

I can't remember the last time I wrote a "Things I'm Loving" post (beside the Five Fall Favorites posts, which don't quite count since they were so narrowly focused), so we're well due for one. Here's a glimpse of some of the random things I'm currently enjoying!

The event runs October 3-8 with themed book recommendations and fun posts each day. There is also a giveaway, and some... Continue Reading →

Seeing Double: Lookalike Book Covers

Sometimes I see a book and swear I have seen the exact cover before with a different title! I've been noticing this a lot over the past few months, so I decided to make a post featuring a few of them. I'm not poking fun at the authors or thinking anything negative about any of the books - I just think it's interesting to see so many similarities!
