So many good indie books are releasing this month! Today I'm highlighting a book I've been excited about for a long time.
Happy Release Day to A Very Bookish Thanksgiving!
Another book that I am very excited for releases today! This is a limited edition novella collection, and I cannot wait to read the stories! I might have to wait a few weeks until school responsibilities let up enough to have time to read for pleasure, though. Join me in celebrating!

5 New Releases I’m Looking Forward to This Season
Usually, I'm not the kind of person who cares much about new releases. They're fun, sure, but time-proven classics tend to grab my attention more than brand new books. However, while drafting my monthly TBR list for November, I realized that there are a few books releasing soon which I am very excited about, and... Continue Reading →
New Release Blog Tour & Book Review: I Love to Tell the Story by Faith Blum
Happy Friday, Readers! Today we're talking about book two in the Librarians of Willow Hollow series, AKA one of my favorite things to come out of this year! I Love to Tell the Story introduces us to Lillian Sullivan, a kind young woman who leaves her dying home town of Castle Rock, Montana to tackle the challenge of being a horseback librarian in Willow Hollow, Kentucky. She's a bit older and more mature than Lena, the protagonist from the first book, and brings a dedicated perspective on Christianity and Christian love which the town has not seen.
This book released on Tuesday, August 18.
New Release Spotlight: Ivy Introspective by Kellyn Roth
Hello from a Tuesday morning, Readers! One of my favorite indie authors, Kellyn Roth, is in the process of re-launching her book series The Chonicles of Alice and Ivy, and today I get to tell you about the second book in the series. This book just became available, and the premise has me sucked in completely.... Continue Reading →
First Line Friday {July 24, 2020} Featuring: A Strand of Hope by Amanda Tero

First Line Friday is a weekly linkup hosted at Hoarding Books. To participate, share the first line of a book of your choice, add the link to... Continue Reading →
Summer Reading Challenges Check-In
I love the Annie Moses Band. Their music is just phenomenal! They're most well-known for their Christmas music, but I love their other music as well. As we're nearly halfway through Summer, this seemed an ideal time to share this song with y'all! For the same reason, it's time for me to check in on... Continue Reading →
Mailbox Monday // June 21, 2020
It's been a while since I could participate in Mailbox Monday! With the library being closed, moving, and just the way life was, I did not receive any new books for several weeks (and honestly that is not a bad thing). This weekend I visited my parents, and apparently when the mail rains, it pours!... Continue Reading →
May TBR List & Goals
This month's TBR and goals are more of a struggle to set than usual. Of course, with the library being closed for 6 weeks, I quickly went through all my checked out materials. Next, since I planned to cut back on the number of book review requests I accept in order to prepare for starting grad school this year, I am entirely caught up there. Also, I have made large strides in reading books that I own but had not yet read, especially those on my 2020 Read or Donate shelf (which you can read an introduction to here). So, where do I turn from here?
