Time for another reading check-in! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme currently hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s stand for the following questions: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? To participate, make a post or comment answering the three questions, link up to the... Continue Reading →
Yarn Along is a monthly link up hosted at Small Things. The point is to share our yarn-type projects (such as knitting, crochet, or similar) as well as the books we are reading. I love watching others’ projects develop, and of course I love hearing about the books people are reading, too! You can see everyone’s linked posts and the guidelines at the host’s site, here.
Today I'm reviewing book three in the Librarians of Willow Hollow series: Hearts on Lonely Mountain by A.M. Heath. This is the only romance in the series, and just like the books which came before it, it is a wonderful historical fiction tale of growth and bookishness.
Happy Monday, Readers! The first week (and weekend) of school went well overall for me last week. It made for an odd schedule, but it worked. This week my schedule is a little more normal since I will not have class over the weekend. So far the actual content has been pretty basic, which I... Continue Reading →
Happy Friday, Readers! Today we're talking about book two in the Librarians of Willow Hollow series, AKA one of my favorite things to come out of this year! I Love to Tell the Story introduces us to Lillian Sullivan, a kind young woman who leaves her dying home town of Castle Rock, Montana to tackle the challenge of being a horseback librarian in Willow Hollow, Kentucky. She's a bit older and more mature than Lena, the protagonist from the first book, and brings a dedicated perspective on Christianity and Christian love which the town has not seen.
This book released on Tuesday, August 18.

In 2019 Cecily Wolfe easily became one of my favorite new-to-me authors. I quickly read her Cliff Walk Courtships trilogy, and have been on her bandwagon ever since! That trilogy is now being made into audiobooks, giving the world a whole new way to discover these sweet, clean stories. The Cliff Walk Courtships series is... Continue Reading →
Happy first Friday of August! This week was pretty normal for me. The most exciting thing was getting fun buttons at work which say "I'm happy to help from 6 feet away!" I smirk every time I see mine (not that anyone can tell from behind my mask). Today I'm featuring the second book in... Continue Reading →
A new month starts today, and since it is a Wednesday, it means we get to link up for Yarn Along on the first day of the month! Admittedly, I haven't been doing nearly as much knitting recently as I had been. Still, I did do a little, and I love seeing what everyone else is working on.
July is officially over, and I hope that the extreme Summer heat will soon follow suit. I know we probably still have another month of 90 and 100° heat, but I am dreaming of the coming days when I will be able to comfortably eat lunch in my car with the windows down, and drive... Continue Reading →
