Guest Post: BTS with Kate Willis Hoppman

Happy Tuesday! I'm turning over today's post to Kate of Once Upon an Ordinary in celebration of the second edition of her her book Kiera releasing tomorrow!

Tackling the TBR #32

My TBR (to be read) list has gotten nearly out of hand. Therefore, I have decided to do a post featuring ten books from it approximately every other week. As I go through the list, I will evaluate each book and decide whether or not it still belongs. Who knows, perhaps as my list (hopefully) shrinks, you will find a few books to add to your own!

Tackling the TBR #22

Happy Monday! Today I'm taking a look at the next ten books on my TBR (to be read) list, hoping to weed out any that I no longer want to read. There's a lot of variety in this batch, so stick around and maybe you'll find something to add to your own list! Explanation: It... Continue Reading →

I'm excited to start working on new goals and to see what the year brings, though. But before we can start working on next year's plans, it's time to wrap up this month and the Literary Christmas Reading Challenge.

Spell the Month in Books // October 2020 Virtual Bookstack

They're going pretty well; the weekly readings and assignments are easy and usually interesting, though the larger projects are definitely challenging. It's enjoyable to see how what I am learning in class maps onto my current job in the library, and to learn more of the pieces for how everything works together.

Book Review: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

Today is the last day of July, and the heat cannot leave soon enough for me! It's been an unusual but generally enjoyable summer, but I am completely ready for cooler temperatures, cozy aesthetics around town, pumpkin spice, and school. I don't think I have ever been this excited for school to start - almost... Continue Reading →
