What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? To participate, make a post or comment answering the three questions, link up to the host (Sam)’s post, and check out... Book Review: Where’d You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple
It's finally time for my first full book review of the year, featuring the last book I read in 2020! To be honest, I only read Where'd You Go, Bernadette because I heard part of it was set on Antarctica and I still hadn't marked that continent off my reading challenge. Also, since I knew... 10 Favorite Books of 2020
What are my favorite books read in 2020? While on the surface it could be difficult to pick anything good or favorite from 2020, there definitely were some good books that came across my desk. Here's a look at my Top Ten.
#NewYearsReads2021 Day 4 – Book Spine Poetry
How do you feel about poetry, Readers? If you're not a fan, don't click away yet - this post isn't ALL about poetry, but it does play a part. Today's photo prompt in Elza Kinde's #NewYearsReads2021 challenge is "Book Spine Poetry." I love seeing favorite book titles used to make something new and fun! I've seen this a few times before on Instagram (more specifically, bookstagram), but I have never given it a shot myself. But, I decided this time I would try. I had a blast searching through my shelves for inspiration and the best lines, and I am happy with what I came up with. I ended up making two little "poems," and I couldn't decide which I liked better, so I am going to share them both Let me know what you think in the comment section!
Wrapping Up A Literary Christmas, December 2020
It's finally here - the last day of 2020. I know a lot of people are really looking forward to today and the year that starts tomorrow, but honestly, I don't have strong feelings about it. I'm excited to start working on new goals and to see what the year brings, though. But before we can start working on next year's plans, it's time to wrap up this month and the Literary Christmas Reading Challenge.
Mailbox Monday // December 28, 2020
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and weekend, Readers! It certainly was an abnormal Christmas, but I still made memories that I will cherish forever, and I hope you did, too. From a virtual Secret Santa party with friends from college to a socially-distanced Christmas Eve service to relaxing on my own birthday, it's been a full and meaningful season to me, regardless of the craziness.
The Greatest First Line Friday // 12 Days of Christmas 2020 Day 12
Today is Christmas. We've waited, counted the days, planned, baked, wrapped, mailed, and done a hundred other things to prepare for this day. Now, it's finally time to bask in the glory of this wondrous occasion! But, what IS this occasion?
12 Days of Christmas Day 9: Battle of the Christmas Book Covers
I recently saw another blogger do this kind of post, and for the life of me I now can't figure out who it was! Basically, you share images of the covers of different editions of books and say which one you like best. Since Christmas books tend to have some of the most beautiful covers, I thought it would be fun to see so many cozy covers in one post!
WWW Wednesday // 16 December 2020
Hi there Readers! Yes, this is intentionally my second post of the day. Even though the 12 Days of Christmas linkup going on, I still wanted to participate in WWW Wednesday like normal. If you're looking for purely Christmas content, check out the review I posted this morning of Yesterday's Christmas by A.M. Heath! That post links up to two different Christmas blogging events, so it is a great springboard for all things Christmas! If you would rather read more generic bookishness, then keep reading here, and check out the WWW linkup explained below.
Christmas Book Review: Yesterday’s Christmas by A.M. Heath // 12 Days of Christmas 2020 Day 3
This is a busy day for blogging! This post will be linked up with Faith for the 12 Days of Christmas blog party and Tarissa for #ALiteraryChristmas, and I will have a separate post linking up to this week's WWW Wednesday. It's a snowstorm of posts about good books!
