First Line Friday 22.9 Featuring: The Flip Side

First Line Friday is a weekly linkup hosted at Reading Is My Superpower. This week I'm featuring my current YA read by Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson!

Book Review: The Extraordinary Deaths of Mrs. Kip

This book is extremely well-written, accurately captures the nuances of many stages of life, and crafts a friendship for the ages. This is a book you will want to stick around for!

Tackling the TBR 22.11

It has become apparent that my TBR (to be read) list has gotten nearly out of hand. Therefore, I have decided to do a post featuring ten books from it approximately every other week. As I go through the list, I will evaluate each book and decide whether or not it still belongs. Who knows, perhaps as my list (hopefully) shrinks, you will find a few books to add to your own!

May 2022 Spell the Month in Books Linkup

Welcome to the second Saturday of the month - which means it's Spell the Month in Books linkup day! Spell the Month in Books is a linkup hosted here on Reviews From the Stacks on the second Saturday of each month. I think I am more excited about this release than I ever have been before about an author by whom I haven't read anything else!

5+1 Favorite Christmas Books

Today's post was originally supposed to be a collection of mini reviews of Christmas books I've read. However, I'm running short on time today (and honestly didn't end up completing as many Christmas books as I originally hoped), so instead of reviewing I'm just going to feature 5 favorite Christmas-themed books I have read in the past and 1 current Christmassy read that I am pretty sure will become a new favorite. These are all books I highly recommend and would give a 4 or 5 star review.
