Hello and welcome back, Reader! Today's post is linking up with Sam at Taking on a World of Words for WWW Wednesday to talk about the books that are at the front of my mind this week. Even though summer classes are in full swing, the fact that I am only taking two this time (compared... Continue Reading →

Tackling the TBR #22

Happy Monday! Today I'm taking a look at the next ten books on my TBR (to be read) list, hoping to weed out any that I no longer want to read. There's a lot of variety in this batch, so stick around and maybe you'll find something to add to your own list! Explanation: It... Continue Reading →

First Line Friday May 21, 2021 Featuring: Hope in the Time of Fear by Timothy Keller

Good Friday morning, Reader! It's crazy what a solid week of good sleep can do for you. Getting up in the morning is so much easier when I don't stay up late working on homework (or stressing about the outcome), and somehow it's so much easier to stay calm and upbeat throughout the day when... WWW Wednesday May 12, 2021

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme currently hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s stand for the following questions: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? To participate, make a post or comment answering the three questions, link up to the host (Sam)’s post, and check out what others are reading and talking about! I typically participate once a month, approximately in the middle of the month, as a halfway check-in on my monthly reading goals.

Tackling the TBR #21

It has become apparent that my TBR (to be read) list has gotten nearly out of hand. Therefore, I have decided to do a post featuring ten books from it approximately every other week. As I go through the list, I will evaluate each book and decide whether or not it still belongs. Who knows, perhaps as my list (hopefully) shrinks, you will find a few books to add to your own!

March TBR & Goals

Just a short post today! I thought I would have my goals posted last week, but school is so busy at the moment that I just didn't get to it. So, here's what I hope to read and accomplish this month!

Book Spotlight: Gain Save Give by Peter Dixon

Happy Friday! Today I am spotlighting a new nonfiction book that I am looking forward to reading. As a young adult still in the early stages of my career, finding a financial balance is an ongoing process. If you're like me and don't have all the answers for determining an overarching financial management plan or theory, then this might be the perfect book for you! I haven't yet had a chance to read it, but I am looking forward to it very much.
