The fall 2021 semester is over, and there are 12 days until Christmas! Today, I'm kicking things off with a nod to the brave bloggers who are taking on an entire month of daily Christmas posting in the form of Blogmas. There have already been so many fun and festive posts! A few of my favorites are highlighted below.
Wrapping Up A Literary Christmas, December 2020
It's finally here - the last day of 2020. I know a lot of people are really looking forward to today and the year that starts tomorrow, but honestly, I don't have strong feelings about it. I'm excited to start working on new goals and to see what the year brings, though. But before we can start working on next year's plans, it's time to wrap up this month and the Literary Christmas Reading Challenge.
Christmas Book Review: The Women of Christmas by Liz Curtis Higgs // 12 Days of Christmas Day 10
Today is Day 10 of the 12 Days of Christmas! When I started participating in this blog party, I wasn't sure if I would keep up with posting every day - and now here we are in the home stretch! I work like normal today (although I expect it to be fairly crazy), but then I have four days off work to celebrate and relax. I am looking forward to it so very much!
Christmas Mini Book Review: The Christmas Cat by Melody Carlson
Happy first day of winter! Usually, Oklahoma is a little slow on the uptake about season changes, but this year we got winter early (and I am not complaining). It has definitely helped me get into the Christmas spirit.
Christmas Book Review: Yesterday’s Christmas by A.M. Heath // 12 Days of Christmas 2020 Day 3
This is a busy day for blogging! This post will be linked up with Faith for the 12 Days of Christmas blog party and Tarissa for #ALiteraryChristmas, and I will have a separate post linking up to this week's WWW Wednesday. It's a snowstorm of posts about good books!
Spell the Month in (Christmas!) Books // December 2020 – 12 Days of Christmas Day 2
In case you're counting, there are now 11 days until Christmas! Are you close to ready? I have bought everything that I need to, decorated my apartment, helped my parents decorate their house, and made...four Christmas music playlists, so I'm in good shape! There are still several things to be done, but I think I will able to accomplish everything at an enjoyable pace.
A Literary Christmas 2020 TBR
As per usual, I'm signing up for the Literary Christmas reading challenge a few weeks later than I could have. This is my third time participating, and I still forgot that I could have signed up around Thanksgiving. It just didn't cross my mind until I started working on my December reading/blogging plan! I love seeing all of the Christmasy books that the participants read, and I'm looking forward to reading about them even more this year.
Wrapping Up {December 2019}
Welcome to the last monthly wrap-up of 2019! This has been quite a year. Even December has been very full, so rather than simply including this month's books in some of my end-of-the-year posts, they deserve their own post. I set some ambitious goals this month, and I am proud of how things worked out!... Continue Reading →
A Literary Christmas Reading Challenge Wrap-Up
This has been such a fun reading challenge! I hope you have enjoyed following along with the short reviews and updates I have posted, as well as those listed by others in the linkup. The #ALiteraryChristmas Reading Challenge is hosted at In the Bookcase, and you can read all about it here. I love this challenge because... Continue Reading →
#ALiteraryChristmas Reading Challenge Christmas Eve Check-In
It's Christmas Eve! Everything has led to this (well, to tomorrow, anyways). There is just enough time for one more #ALiteraryChristmas check-in! I may not have read as many Christmas books as I would have liked, but I have written quite a few reviews, and I am happy with the way this challenge is turning... Continue Reading →
