Today's post puts the spotlight on a new book by Dr. Alan Noble!
Sci-Fi Book Spotlight: The Search for Synergy by Brett Salter
Happy first Friday of fall, Reader! Surprisingly, Oklahoma decided to at least think about following the calendar this year, and our temperatures have dropped to a blessedly more bearable average lately. Of course the temperature inside the library is another story - we're having issues with humidity, so they're super-cooling the building at night in... Continue Reading →
New Release Spotlight: At Her Fingertips by Kellyn Roth
This is a special edition Saturday post celebrating the release of Kellyn Roth's latest book, At Her Fingertips! As a side note, I am not part of the official blog tour/release team - just supporting an indie author and sharing about a book I'm excited for!
First Line Friday & New Release Spotlight: Discernment by Lauren H. Salisbury
Today is the first Friday in June, so it's time to participate in First Line Friday! This edition is extra fun because the book I'm highlighting is a new release I'm excited about: book 3 in Lauren Salisbury's Legacy Chronicles series. Because my summer classes also started this week, I haven't started reading this book yet, but I hope to soon! It's going to be high on my Summer TBR list, at least.
First Line Friday May 21, 2021 Featuring: Hope in the Time of Fear by Timothy Keller
Good Friday morning, Reader! It's crazy what a solid week of good sleep can do for you. Getting up in the morning is so much easier when I don't stay up late working on homework (or stressing about the outcome), and somehow it's so much easier to stay calm and upbeat throughout the day when... Book Spotlight: Gain Save Give by Peter Dixon
Happy Friday! Today I am spotlighting a new nonfiction book that I am looking forward to reading. As a young adult still in the early stages of my career, finding a financial balance is an ongoing process. If you're like me and don't have all the answers for determining an overarching financial management plan or theory, then this might be the perfect book for you! I haven't yet had a chance to read it, but I am looking forward to it very much.
Cover Reveal: Becoming Miss Knight by Kellyn Roth
Happy Tuesday! We've got a treat today: the cover reveal for Kellyn Roth's upcoming novella. Becoming Miss Knight will be set between the second and third books in The Chronicles of Alice and Ivy. I have meant to read this series ever since I started hearing about it (about two years ago, I think), but to date I have only read one of the books. I loved it though, and I am sure I would enjoy the rest of the series if I ever got around to it, too!
Christmas Book Review: The Women of Christmas by Liz Curtis Higgs // 12 Days of Christmas Day 10
Today is Day 10 of the 12 Days of Christmas! When I started participating in this blog party, I wasn't sure if I would keep up with posting every day - and now here we are in the home stretch! I work like normal today (although I expect it to be fairly crazy), but then I have four days off work to celebrate and relax. I am looking forward to it so very much!
New Release Spotlight: The Good Witch of the South by T.C. Bartlett
Posting three days in a row...what is this, December?! Absolutely! With the school semester done, I'm gearing up for the 12 Days of Christmas linkup and have a ton of exciting content planned for this month. Which, yes, means posts three days in a row this week, and lots more seasonal and bookish fun to come!
Happy Release Day, Faithful in Love!
So many good indie books are releasing this month! Today I'm highlighting a book I've been excited about for a long time.
