WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme currently hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s stand for the following questions: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? To participate, make a post or comment answering the three questions, link up to the host (Sam)’s post, and check out what others are reading and talking about! I typically participate once a month, approximately in the middle of the month, as a halfway check-in on my monthly reading goals.
What Am I Currently Reading?
Not as much as I thought I would be reading, honestly. I thought that with the end of the semester I would spend a lot of time reading, but instead the majority of my “free time” is being spent at the piano or cleaning.
📚 Muscle and a Shovel by Michael J. Shank Narrative Nonfiction, supposed autobiography (I have a few questions, but I’m not yet ready to say I absolutely don’t believe him)
📚 The Reason for My Hope by Billy Graham Nonfiction – Theology
📚 Stop Asking Jesus Into Your Heart by J.D. Greear Nonfiction – Theology (contemplating DNFing this one because of the extent to which I disagree with it, but not quite ready to throw in the towel yet)
What Did I Recently Finish Reading?
📚 Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis Nonfiction – Theology
My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
📚 Metaliteracy by Thomas P. Mackey and Trudi Jacobson Nonfiction – Information Science
My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
What Might I Read Next?
📚 You Are Not Your Own by Alan Noble Nonfiction – Theology
📚 Youngbloods (Impostors #4) by Scott Westerfeld YA Science Fiction
It seems like I keep talking about the same few books, and not getting through much, but such is this season. I needed a bit of a brain break after this semester. Plus, I’m reading more theology books these days, and they tend to take longer than fiction stories to get through.
What books are on your radar this week?
Until the next chapter,
