All I really have to say is, wow. School started in mid-August and I am both loving it and somehow feel like I have absolutely no time left! I didn't do a formal August wrap-up, so today's is covering both August and September. And it's just as well, since if this were only September, it... Continue Reading →
It has become apparent that my TBR (to be read) list has gotten nearly out of hand. Therefore, I have decided to do a post featuring ten books from it approximately every other week. As I go through the list, I will evaluate each book and decide whether or not it still belongs. Who knows,... Continue Reading →
I read Out of the Blue: New Short Fiction From Iceland in May 2020. It's been sitting in the back of my mind ever since; my brain is not quite sure what to make of it. This is not a proper review, like I usually write, but a brief explanation of the main take-aways I got... Continue Reading →
Happy Tuesday and Happy Fall, Readers!! The high today is supposed to be 70 degrees, there is a 100% chance of rain, and I am thrilled! This is perfect beginning-of-fall weather. I am so happy to have made it through the heat of summer and be into a season that feels kinder to me. To celebrate the beginning of fall, today I'm doing the Fall Favorites Tag.

To participate, make a post or comment answering the three questions, link up to the... Continue Reading →
Hey Readers! What are you planning to read this week? I know I've already said this a few times, but school really is taking over my schedule this season. I'm enjoying diving into topics that are close to my heart and just learning in general, but it feels like I have basically signed away my... Continue Reading →
Yarn Along is a monthly link up hosted at Small Things. The point is to share our yarn-type projects (such as knitting, crochet, or similar) as well as the books we are reading. I love watching others’ projects develop, and of course I love hearing about the books people are reading, too! You can see everyone’s linked posts and the guidelines at the host’s site, here.
Today I'm reviewing book three in the Librarians of Willow Hollow series: Hearts on Lonely Mountain by A.M. Heath. This is the only romance in the series, and just like the books which came before it, it is a wonderful historical fiction tale of growth and bookishness.
One of the fabulous bloggers I follow is publishing a poetry book! I don't read a ton of poetry, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate it. This author, Amie, consistently posts beautiful, lyrical works, so I am eagerly looking forward to her new poetry book! Today I get to share the cover with you... Continue Reading →
