Let’s end this week on a fun note! There seem to be a ton of creative new tags popping up these days, and I’m going to do one that I saw on Bookish Me recently. I would love to hear your answers to these questions, too, if you feel like playing along.
The Stuck At Home Book Tag rules:
Thank the person who nominated you: No one, but I saw it on Bookish Me!
Answer all the questions down below.

Nominate 5+ bloggers you’d like to know more about, to do this tag: I nominate everyone who misses being able to actually go into their local library.
What are you currently reading?
Exile by Shannon Messenger (Middle Grade Fantasy)
Out of the Blue by Helen Mitsios (Short Story Collection, mostly fiction with some Nordic mythology)
The Betrothed by Kiera Cass (YA Fantasy)
What’s your favourite ‘can’t leave the house’ activity?
Gardening and knitting are tied for my favorite – I can’t pick between them!
A book you’ve been meaning to read forever:
The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
An intimidating book on your TBR:
House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski
I keep hearing that I should read this, but its unusual format and what I’ve been told about its psychological, atmospheric affect make it one that I keep putting off.
Top 3 priority books on your TBR:
Never Say Goodbye by Sarah Grace Grzy (Christian Contemporary Clean Romance)
Home Work by Julie Andrews (Nonfiction/Autobiography)
The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson (Historical Fiction)
Recommend a short book:
Ooh, this one is a bit difficult! But since I just mentioned Never Say Goodbye, I’ll go ahead and recommend the author’s first book, Live Without You – 222 pages.
Recommend a long book:
Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger – 496 pages
Something you’d love to do while stuck at home:
Honestly I think I’ve done everything I would want to do while stuck at home. I guess in an ideal world I would work on writing the book that rides around in my head but has yet to make it onto paper.
What do you plan on reading next?
Everblaze by Shannon Messenger
I didn’t realize I would end up duplicating authors so as much as I did, but that’s just how things are this time!
Have you seen any fun new (or just new to you) tags that caught your eye recently? Or a new book that you can’t wait to gush over?
Until the next chapter,
Jana

I also have House of Leaves on my TBR — I even own a copy! But I’m a super big chicken when it comes to haunted houses and this one sounds TERRIFYING.

I’m the same way! I’m considering putting it on my October TBR now; maybe with a few months to prepare, I’ll be able to work myself up to reading it.

October would be the perfect time to read it… if you dare!!
