#ALiteraryChristmas 2019 Check-in #1

December is already flying by! I suppose that is usually the case with things that we spend so much time anticipating. I have a lot to do this month, especially with participating in the #ALiteraryChristmas Reading Challenge. I’ll be doing short, periodic updates to stay accountable.

aliterarychristmas-buttonThe #ALiteraryChristmas Reading Challenge is hosted at In the Bookcase, and you can read all about it here. I love this challenge because you get to set your own goal of how many Christmas-themed books you want to read, in any format and any genre. To participate, share your list via a post in the linkup at the challenge headquarters (above), and get reading! You can share as many updates as you want, post reviews about the books you read, and talk to other bookworms who are reading Christmas books. My sign-up post and TBR list are located here.

I participated in the release blog tour celebrating Project Scrooge by A. M. Heath! You can read my review of this book plus lots of bonus blog tour content here. The blog tour runs through next Monday, December 16th, so if you’re reading this before then be sure to check it out! There is a fun giveaway going on with a travel mug, a copy of Project Scrooge, and some hot chocolate. Plus, I just really enjoy this author’s writing, and that ought to be enough reason to check it out!

Not a huge update, but hey! Two (short) books read and one review of a Christmas-themed book I read in November isn’t bad. I have one more “for sure” Christmas book planned to read this month, plus a few that I would like to get to if I reach my other goals. And, of course, I still have reviews planned for the Christmas books that I read throughout the year!

Until the next chapter,

Jana
