Happy Monday and happy December, Readers! Later this week I’ll share my complete December TBR, but this post is all about the #ALiteraryChristmas 2019 challenge.
The Literary Christmas Reading Challenge is hosted at In the Bookcase, and you can read all about it here. I love this challenge because you get to set your own goal of how many Christmas-themed books you want to read, in any format and any genre. To participate, share your list via a post in the linkup at the challenge headquarters (linked above), and get reading! You can share as many updates as you want, post reviews about the books you read, and talk to other bookworms who are reading Christmas books.
This is my second time participating in the Literary Christmas reading challenge. Last year I challenged myself to read 5 Christmas-themed books (you can see my post about it here), and I made it! This year I still have a few loose ends to tie up for my year-long reading goals, so I’m not going to be too ambitious with my list. Here is my challenge list:
Realistic/Basic Reading Challenge List:
Above and Beyond List:
- Christmas with Cocoa by Cleopatra Margot
- A Very Bookish Christmas by various authors
- one other book from this list on Goodreads or something spontaneous that I come across during the month
I am so excited for this reading challenge! I’ve read a few Christmas books throughout the year, and I can’t wait to share my reviews on those books and the ones I plan to read for this challenge! December is definitely going to be a full month, especially when it comes to book reviews. Keep an eye out for my post later this week discussing some other, non-Christmas-themed books I plan to read this month as well!
If you enjoy Christmas books, I hope you will join me in participating in the #ALiteraryChristmas 2019 Reading Challenge!
Until the next chapter,
