Usually, I wouldn’t do a WWW Wednesday post two weeks in a row, but with Thanksgiving being tomorrow I just need a quick post today. It’s going to be short but book-filled, and what more could any of us want from the day before a holiday?
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme currently hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s stand for the following questions: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? To participate, make a post or comment answering the three questions, link up to the host (Sam)’s post, and check out what others are reading and talking about! I typically participate once a month, approximately in the middle of the month, as a halfway check-in on my monthly reading goals.
What Am I Currently Reading?
Confessions by Augustine of Hippo; Nonfiction – Christian Theology & Biography
Project Scrooge by A. M. Heath; Contemporary Christmas Fiction, Clean Romance
Faith, Hope, and Ivy June by Phyllis Naylor; Middle-Grade Contemporary Fiction
The Radium Girls by Kate Moore; Nonfiction – History: 1920s Radium Factories
What Have I Recently Finished Reading?
Shatter City by Scott Westerfeld; YA Post-Apocalyptic Dystopian Fiction
What Will I Read Next?
Dear Reader by Mary O’Connell
O Pioneers! by Willa Cather
See this post for more of my thoughts on what to read for the rest of the year. I will also soon post about the Literary Christmas reading challenge, and share some Christmas-themed books that I hope to read!
Is this week keeping you busy? I hope you find some time to relax and prepare for the rest of the year over this holiday weekend, if you’re in the States; and if not, I hope you have a not-too-chaotic rest of your week! Happy almost-Thanksgiving, Readers!
Don’t forget to check out the books that others are discussing this weeks on the WWW linkup!
Until the next chapter,
