The Pumpkin Spice Latte Book Tag {Abbreviated}

Hay there Readers (see what I did there? I’m not sorry). Today I’m doing the Pumpkin Spice Latte Book tag, which I found on Acquadimore Books. The tag was originally created by The Book Pusher on YouTube.

I enjoy a good PSL, but I’m not completely wrapped up in the phenomenon, especially now that the season is well underway. Similar to a good PSL, this book tag brings out a few of the interesting reading tastes the responder has. It’s a shorter tag, but I still think it’s fun! Read on to see whether you agree!

Pumpkin Spice Latte

a book everyone likes to hate on but is delicious

Franny and Zooey J.D. Salinger cover

I tend to block out negative comments about things that I love, so I am having a terrible time coming up with something for this! I don’t really know if anyone hates this, but I am fairly certain that no one I know loves Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger as much as I do, so, close enough?

“Fall is my favorite season”

a cliche you can’t get enough of

Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery

Hmm…I enjoy just about everything about this season, even the cliches! I guess my top 2 would be the overused classic Anne Shirley quote “I’m so glad to live in a world where there are Octobers!” and puns along the lines of “I be-leaf in you!” (See the beginning of this post to reiterate this point).

Sweater Weather to T-Shirt Weather

A book you thought was one thing, but was completely different by the end

Dandelion Dust by Faith Potts cover

Dandelion Dust by Faith Potts. I thought it was going to be tragic and sad but, spoiler, it isn’t sad in the end! It’s adorable and I absolutely love this book.

Do you have a spooky book on your TBR?

Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman cover43506260

I just recently read Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, which was about as spooky as I get. The closest book that is still on my TBR is The Bakeshop at Pumpkin and Spice by Donna Kaufman; it doesn’t really look spooky to me, but the story does center around Halloween.

I’m skipping the last two questions from the tag because they deal with topics I am not comfortable including on my blog.

I tag anyone who loves autumn, the Anne of Green Gables series, or puns to do The Pumpkin Spice Latte Tag!

Until the next chapter,
