Hello Readers! Today’s post spotlights an upcoming release by new independent author, Laura Danner. I have followed Laura’s blog for quite a while, and I am looking forward to reading her book when it releases. Additionally, Laura is sharing the cover of her upcoming book for the first time today, and I get to share it here, too!
I was going to do one of those blog teasers where you have to scroll wayyyyy down to get to the hyped content, but I’m too excited, so I won’t make you wait! Without further ado…
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms by Laura Danner
I love the rustic look! The color palette is beautiful, as well as the flowers 😍. I love it. I want to know what’s on the character’s mind, because there is obviously something.
About the Book
Title: Leaning on the Everlasting Arms
Author: Laura Danner
Genre: Historical Fiction, Christian
Synopsis: In the year 1897, Meg Sonnenfeld is orphaned. Along with her little sister Hannah, she goes to live with the Andersons, a large family several hours away. Most of them are very friendly and try to make the girls feel at home, but one of them, Lissie, is making Meg feel very unwelcome. As she struggles to find her place there, disaster strikes in the form of cholera. As Meg watches her sister’s health decline, she struggles with questions. Will Meg learn to Lean On the Everlasting Arms and find peace?
Honestly, this book sounds like it will be right up my alley! Between the cover aesthetic, the late 1800s setting, and the serious-yet-hopeful tone from the synopsis, I am really looking forward to it. Join me in celebrating with Laura for sharing the cover of Leaning on the Everlasting Arms!
Until the next chapter,
