It’s time to celebrate, because…
ππI reached my 2019 Goodreads Reading Goal!! ππ
I didn’t get it logged until today, but on Sunday, August 25th, I completed my 50th book of 2019 and thereby achieved the reading goal I set on Goodreads for this year!
I am so happy (and somewhat relieved) about this that I want to celebrate. So, I’m hosting my first ever giveaway!
Here is the list of everything I have read this year according to Goodreads.
Giveaway Details
One randomly drawn winner will receive:Β A bookmark bundle and Barnes & Noble giftcard (exact number of bookmarks and giftcard denomination TBD. Total prize will be worth ~$20). Depending on how much I end up spending on bookmarks, there may or may not be some other bookish swag thrown in as well.
To Enter:Β Leave a comment on this blog post sharing one of the best books you have read so far in 2019. For 1 additional BONUS entry, share about this giveaway on your blog or Instagram. If you do this, make sure you mention me @reviewsfromthestacks on Instagram or link back to this post so that I see your entry. Only 1 bonus entry will be counted per person regardless of how many times you share.
Giveaway Conditions:Β Open to continental US mailing addresses only (sorry!). Entrants must be at least age 18 or have parents permission to share your mailing address with me if you win. Entries close Thursday, August 29 at 11:59 PM CDT. Winner will be announced Saturday, August 31 and will have one week to email me and claim their prize. This giveaway is not sponsored by anyone and only I am responsible for fulfilling it. There must be at least 3 entrants by the time the giveaway closes for me to draw a winner. Entries may be disqualified if I think you are attempting to manipulate or otherwise disrupt the process.
I can’t wait to hear about all the good books y’all have read so far this year!
Until the next chapter,
Jana
I just finished Prince Charming By Rachel Hawkins (I think that’s the author) this evening and it was amazing!!! Definitely my kind of book.

Congrats!!!! Such a good feeling to meet that goal, and so far in advance of the end of the year!! π My favorite book I think I’ve read so far this year is Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. But it’s so hard to choose!!

I’ve seen Little Fires Everywhere several times, but don’t know much about it; I’ll have to look it up! And I’m glad you’ve read enough good books this year that it’s difficult to choose one!

Hi Jana, I canβt imagine reading 50 books in 2 or 3 years. Congratulations! Iβll try to remember to share on my main blog. βGene Brode, Jr.

Oops! Forgot to mention my favorite book. Iβm going to go with Jesusβ Son by Denis Johnson. Itβs not the cleanest, but the writing has captivated me, especially the analogies and detailed descriptions.
