Today we take time to recognize and remember the life and message of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His words should hit each of us deeply, and cause us to take another look at the world around us and our place in it. His life is not one that can be casually appreciated, while failing to open your eyes to the continued struggles of those around you. May his legacy encourage all of us to pursue peace on active feet, reconciliation with honest humility, and Truth above all else.

Dr. King was known as a great orator, and there are dozens of other quotes I could have chosen, but today this is the one that spoke to me most. This list is a good starting point if you want to read more.
